My journey into veterinary medicine was inspired by a childhood in the idyllic rural landscapes of southern India, surrounded by a menagerie of animals that were not just livestock, but cherished companion’s integral to our family. Having observed the dedicated work of veterinarians caring for our modest herd, I realized the profound impact these professionals had on both animals and their owners. This early connection to the well-being of animals fueled my commitment to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Upon moving to Canada, my focus transitioned to companion animals, and I owned and operated a veterinary practice. During this time, I witnessed the deep bonds people share with their pets and the emotional journey they navigate when it’s time to say goodbye.
